Laplace Systems Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") has established the following operation policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") for the operation of official accounts (hereinafter referred to as "Official Accounts") on various social media platforms. This policy aims to establish valuable communication with users of the Official Accounts.

1. Definitions

  • "User Registration Procedure": The action of following, friending, or setting the account’s posts to appear on one’s own timeline.
  • "Use of Account": Refers to viewing or sharing information posted by an account, or posting, replying, or sending direct messages to the account, regardless of whether the user has completed the registration procedure.
  • "Social Media Users": All users of the various social media platforms where the Company operates its Official Accounts, regardless of whether they use the Official Accounts.
  • "User": Refers to all individuals using the Official Accounts.
  • "Content": Data such as text, images, videos, audio, and music posted on social media by the Company’s Official Accounts.
2. Scope of Application

(1)This Policy applies to all Official Accounts.

(2)In the event of a conflict between this Policy and the terms and policies set forth by the respective social media platforms, the terms and policies of the social media platforms shall take precedence.

3.Disclaimer

(1)Official announcements and views from the Company are made via the Company’s website and other official platforms. The Company strives to provide accurate information through the Official Accounts, but it does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or validity of any information that differs from what is published on the official website.

(2)Content posted by users on the Official Accounts does not reflect the views or opinions of the Company, its employees, or affiliates, and the Company assumes no responsibility for such content. The Company is not responsible for any disputes or issues that arise between users or between users and third parties in connection with the Official Accounts.

(3)Information posted by the Company or its employees, as well as content posted by users, are for users to use at their own risk and discretion. The Company assumes no responsibility for any damage caused, except in cases of intentional or gross negligence by the Company.

(4)Due to the user's browsing environment, there may be issues with viewing the Official Accounts. The Company is not liable for any damages caused by users being unable to view the Official Accounts.

(5)The Company does not promise to reply to all user posts. Also, inquiries about the Company or its products/services are not accepted via the Official Accounts.

(6)The Company does not guarantee that it will follow a user’s account when the user registers with the Official Accounts. Additionally, even if the Official Accounts follow a user, any information posted by that account does not represent the Company's views.

(7)The Company may include links to third-party websites, but the Company assumes no responsibility for the content or accuracy of those external websites.

(8)Official Accounts are operated using the systems of the respective social media platforms. The Company does not guarantee the functionality or safety of these platforms' systems and cannot respond to technical inquiries or questions about usage.

(9)The Company may, without prior notice to users, add, modify, or discontinue content on the Official Accounts. The Company is not responsible for any damage caused by such actions.

4.Prohibited Actions

(1)Users must not engage in the following actions when using the Official Accounts. If users engage in any of these behaviors, the Company may take necessary measures such as deleting content, blocking access to the Official Account, or other actions without prior notice. The Company may seek compensation for damages caused by these actions:

  1. Infringement of the Company’s, other social media users’, or third parties' intellectual property rights, including copyrights and portrait rights, or actions that may lead to such infringement.
  2. Infringement or potential infringement of the Company’s, other social media users’, or third parties' property, reputation, privacy, etc.
  3. Defamation of the Company, third parties, or their products/services, or actions that may lead to such defamation.
  4. Defamation of specific individuals, companies, nations, or regions, including the Company’s executives and employees.
  5. Transmission of harmful computer programs or disguised files.
  6. Unauthorized access or impersonation of the Company or a third party.
  7. Spam, multiple or repetitive posting.
  8. Political, election, or religious activities.
  9. Criminal activities or actions that may lead to criminal activities.
  10. Posts that are socially inappropriate, discriminatory, or damaging to the dignity of third parties.
  11. Distribution or attempts to distribute obscene images, sounds, or text.
  12. Disclosure of private communications between the Company and third parties.
  13. Affiliate marketing, advertising, solicitation, or promotion, including directing users to external websites for such purposes.
  14. Misleading users into believing there is a partnership or collaboration with the Company or third parties when none exists.
  15. Actions that disrupt the operation of the Company’s services or damage the Company’s reputation.
  16. Violations of the terms of service of the respective social media platforms.
  17. Any other actions deemed inappropriate by the Company.
5.Personal Information

The Company may access and collect publicly available information from users' social media profiles, such as their name and profile pictures. If the Company collects personal information through the operation of Official Accounts, it will be managed appropriately according to the Company’s privacy policy.

6.Protection of Intellectual Property Rights

(1)All content (referred to collectively as "works") on the Official Accounts, including text, images, and videos, is copyrighted by the Company or third parties who hold the rights. Users may not use these works beyond the scope of copyright law without permission.

(2)The names of the Company's products and services are trademarks or registered trademarks of the Company. Users may not use these marks without prior permission.

(3)The copyright and other rights related to content posted by users belong to the user who posted it. However, users agree that the Company may quote or share their posts using the features of the respective social media platforms.

7.Policy Amendments

The Company may amend this Policy. If the Policy is changed, the revised version will be published on the Company’s website (https://www.lapsys.co.jp/en/). The revised Policy will be effective the business day after it is published on the website.

8.Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Policy is governed by Japanese law. In the event of a dispute between users and the Company, the Kyoto District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.

The account information for Official Accounts will be published at the top of this page. Accounts not listed here are not operated by the Company.
